Hara Kempton, 49, a nurse from Prince Edward Island, Canada has Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis — a rare autoimmune liver disease. After 20 years of nursing in PEI, her condition has deteriorated significantly. The liver is an amazing organ that will grow back to full size for the donor within 2–3 months.
Donor requirements: ages 16–60, blood type O+ or O-, must be in good health.
