Outcome: Successful kidney transplant; recipient now serves in US Army
Tami Brody from Oklahoma read a Save One Alert about John Schoueten of NJ, who had been in renal failure for two years. She contacted him after matching initial criteria, completed testing, and was found to be a match. After the successful February surgery at New York Presbyterian, Mr. Schoueten is alive, healthy, and works for the United States Army several years later.
